Nu Concepts Window Co. Sided our home and
garage with James Hardieboard Siding. Installed new
gutters, downspouts, attic vents, garage window, front
door and back storm door.
Our initial contact with Nu-Concepts was through their
website asking for a quote, within hours Ken had replied
to my email and we set up a meeting time to discuss our
concerns. Ken came out listened to our thoughts and
desires, took some pictures and returned approximately a
week later with ideas and pricing. We signed the
contract, put down a deposit and work began a few week
later.
Mauritz and his crew were simply amazing, these guys
worked through the worst of weather...of course we
hadn't had much bad weather until we started our job;
snow, sleet, rain and then the massive melting (imagine
working under the soffits with no gutters). Every day
discussed the job process for that day, came to the door
one day and apologized for going home (it was raining
and miserable--I don't think I would have even attempted
that day) but these guys were very conscience. Every day
our driveway, garage and yard were cleared of debris and
they kept their recyclables (gutters & downspouts) in
one location at the back of our home until ready to haul
away and respected our request to be able to put one car
in the garage in the evening. We of course custom-
ordered a front door and that took several weeks to come
in, and as soon as that was in they came back and
installed, which is gorgeous at this time they took care
of some details that I had noticed that I had wanted
addressed. Mauritz would have come back prior to door
installation if they were pressing, but we felt that we
could wait until the door was installed, which gave us
more time to review the job.
I would definitely recommend this company, I was very
pleased with the contact we had with Ken and how he
addressed each concern, like it was his own home.

We recently purchased our new home and felt like
something was missing from the exterior. We had always
admired the curb appeal of our neighbor's house and
learned that Nu-Concepts had completely transformed the
exterior of their home. We reached out to Nu-Concepts

made a house call to give us more information and a
quote regarding constructing a portico.

had construction scheduled AND completed! Better yet,
the entire process of working with Nu-Concept was simple
and pain-free, and after remodeling our previous home
from top to bottom, we know how difficult any type of
construction process can be!
And the results are incredible. I feel like we have a
new home - it was EXACTLY what was missing the quality
and detail of the construction has left our visitors
speechless. The portico has transformed our home and is
currently the talk of our entire street!

"Ken the project went beautifully. The crew showed up on
time, and with a crew of 5 guys, did the whole job in
one day. They custom built the portico on site. There
were a few little things I asked them to change, (such
as color of flashing) etc. and they were very
accommodating. Although the company drew a diagram of my
home with the portico beforehand so I could see what it
would look like, the project turned out more beautiful
than I expected. The workmanship, attention to detail
and the quality is evident from the street. Another
bonus I was not expecting....they covered all the wood
parts with aluminum siding material, making it virtually
maintenance free. The whole process was a pleasure and

We needed to replace a large foyer window and a
double casement window
- I conducted extensive research of the market regarding
window types, and installation companies and
subsequently met with five companies to discuss their
offerings.
I was made aware of Nu Concepts by my neighbor as they
had worked with them about four years ago and had a good
experience - they were happy with how the original
installation had gone and more importantly, the windows
and workmanship have held up very well. I met with Ken
and was impressed by his soft-sell approach; he was very
knowledgeable but took time to understand what the
issues were that we faced and what it was that we wanted
to achieve in regard to look, feel and color scheme of
the final installation. Following consideration of the
bid subsequently presented, Ken's presentation of Nu
Concepts' capabilities, as well as the very positive
endorsement of the company by my neighbor, we decided to
engage Nu Concepts for our project. The foreman, John,
made an advance visit to our house to measure and
familiarize himself directly with what the project
entailed. On the day of the installation, he and two
installers arrived on time and proceeded to work
diligently completing the job in one morning. They were
evidently conscientious in their work and did a very
nice job on our windows. They also laid down floor
covering to help protect our carpets and vacuumed the
work areas after they completed the work. Ken also
visited during the early part of the installation.
All in all, I believe that we certainly made the right
choice with Nu Concepts - they'll be our first call for
future projects and I would have no hesitation in
recommending them to anyone looking at replacing their
windows.

"Hats off to Nu Concepts ...The process went very
smoothly. Ken always showed up on time and was extremely
responsive. We interviewed 2 companies for our job and
we selected Nu-Concepts based upon a couple things we
really liked: Prepared a detailed rendering of our home
with the recommended upgrades Broke down the initial
estimate so that we could pick and choose what we wanted
to do right away vs. down the road Ken was passionate
about his work and was excited about updating our home
(it's a dramatic before & after) Ken used constraint
when presenting changes. He knew we had a budget and
didn't try to sell us on too many new features. It would
have been disappointing if the upgraded rendering had
all kinds of features that were far out of reach.
Ken is pleasantly persistent. We probably would still be
thinking about the project without his regular
follow-up.
Ken was always on time and friendly. He accommodated our
busy schedules and busy household. We have 2 little
girls (2-year old and 9-month old), and he never seemed
to mind when they demanded attention during our
conversations.
Ken came to our house 3-4 times to settle all of the
details of our project. We scheduled a start date for 3
weeks after the contract was signed. John, the leader of
the installation crew, came to our house a few days
prior to the start date to prepare for the installation.
We discussed all the details that you don't really think
about - shape of the gable vents, color of the soffits,
lighting placement, etc. John and his crew showed up
around 8am every day and left most nights by 5:30pm
(which we appreciated). The crew definitely had a rhythm
and was very efficient. John and Ken checked in with us
regularly to make sure we were happy with the work. They
finished on schedule and did a good job cleaning up the
site. Ken checked back in with us a few weeks later to
make sure we were happy.
Great experience!!! We will definitely use Nu-Concepts
in the future"
